Do you need a tablet that is easily accessible around the house and can serve you all the brain-rot content with a flick and a tap?

Well, Honor has two of such entertainment tablets, especially since these devices prioritise their viewing experiences, with a manageable, hand-friendly build to boot. Without further ado:

Honor Pad V9

The Honor Pad V9 is a 475g, 6.1mm tablet that focuses on maximising its 11.5-inch LCD panel.

At 2,800 x 1,840 pixels resolution with DCI-P3 wide colour gamut and 144Hz refresh rate, Honor Pad V9 seeks to be all sorts of vibrant, sharp, and smooth.

To push its display specs even further is a host of eye care tweaks (like Dynamic Dimming, Circadian Night Display, and the AI Defocus Comfort Display), alongside a massive 10,100mAh battery for long hours of videos and music.

A midrange MediaTek Dimensity 8350 Elite powers it all, with a familiar MagicOS 9.0 (Android 15) interface and sufficient 256GB storage backed by 12GB RAM. You can also extend its RAM virtually with Honor RAM Turbo.

If you also use tablets for video calls, Honor Pad V9 has a 13MP rear camera and 8MP front camera to complete its entertainment package. Similarly, if you want to use wireless audio products, it has Bluetooth 5.2 and both Wi-Fi 2.4GHz/5GHz bands on board.

Honor Pad V9 retails at S$659 on Shopee, Lazada, TikTok Shop, Harvey Norman, and Challenger. It can also be found at Honor Experience Stores (Causeway Point, NEX Mall), authorised partners, and the physical outlets of Harvey Norman, Courts, Best Denki, Challenger, and Gain City.

From 25 April until 31 May 2025, each purchase of Honor Pad V9 comes with a free Honor Keyboard (worth S$159). The Honor Magic-Pencil 3 can also be a purchase-with-puchase at an additional S$99 more (U.P. S$139).

If your needs are slightly different, Honor also offers the Honor Pad X9a. It’s mildly thicker (at 6.77mm) but keeps the same 475g weight and 11.5-inch display size.

It’s also an LCD panel rated at 2,508 x 1,504 pixels resolution, but it has a lower maximum refresh rate of 120Hz (with the option for 90Hz and 60Hz). It has more RAM at 16GB with 256GB storage, but its cameras are also lower in resolution at 8MP rear and 5MP front.

It also uses a different entry-level chipset, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 685, and has a lower 8,300mAh battery. However, it still runs on the same MagicOS 9.0 (Android 15).

In short, this tablet offers mild differences in display specs for specific viewing needs. It’s also at the entry-level tier, making it a better option for users who use tablets for bare essential tasks.

Honor Pad X9a retails at S$399 in Gray on  Shopee, Lazada, TikTok Shop, and Harvey Norman. It can also be found at Honor Experience Stores (Causeway Point, NEX Mall), authorised partners, and the physical outlets of Harvey Norman, Courts, Best Denki, Challenger, and Gain City.

From 25 April until 31 May 2025, each purchase of Honor Pad X9a comes with a free Bluetooth Keyboard (worth S$99). The Honor Choice Pencil can also be a purchase-with-puchase at a discounted S$39 (U.P. S$99).
