It was inevitable, Netflix has raised subscription prices in Singapore

Early this year, we reported that Netflix was increasing prices in the US, Canada, Portugal, and Argentina. Now, it’s our turn.

Netflix will increase prices in Singapore starting 18 April, which means it takes effect immediately. The cheapest you can expect to pay for a Netflix subscription is now S$15.98—an increase of S$2. Here’s the new pricing structure:

  • Basic – S$13.98 to S$15.98
  • Standard – S$19.98 to S$22.98
  • Premium – S$25.98 to S$29.98

The last time Netflix increased prices in Singapore was back in February 2024. Back then, it increased its prices by S$1 to S$4.

But that’s not all. Remember, Netflix introduced a plan to help you add users who don’t reside at the same household address as the person paying for the account? It seems that they’ve also updated their pricing from S$6.98 for an extra member slot to S$7.98.

Netflix isn’t the only one to increase its prices. Earlier this year, Disney did the same in Singapore for its Disney+ streaming service, even after it lost 700,000 subscribers worldwide.
