Start thinking Miku with this ASUS TUF Gaming x Hatsune Miku collab
ASUS TUF Gaming and Crypton Future Media have teamed up to bring you a new collaboration featuring the acclaimed Vocaloid with the blue hair and blue tie: Hatsune Miku. The collaboration only encompasses four products, but all four have been extensively designed to incorporate Miku’s visual motifs.
This includes the TUF Gaming K3 Gen II Hatsune Miku Edition, a 97-key mechanical keyboard with optical-mechanical RGB switches, gasket mount design and sound dampening foam pre-installed. But while the normal K3 Gen II sports a rather austere all-black look, the Hatsune Miku takes ramps up the colour, featuring Miku’s blue, white and pink colour scheme, along with special keycaps and a detatchable top cover.
You might also be interested in the TUF Gaming Mini Wireless Mouse, a 65g ultralight mouse that ASUS says offers up to 134 hours of battery life in Bluetooth mode and mechanical switches that last for 100 million clicks. The mouse’s design takes on Hatsune Miku’s colours, as well as her iconic ’01’ tattoo.
It’s also fairly unique in the TUF Gaming lineup as a whole. Judging from its appearance and specs, it doesn’t seem to be based on any existing TUF Gaming mice. Indeed, it’s the only product in the list that doesn’t have a ‘letter-number’ model name, possibly making this an original product.
The last two peripherals are:
- The TUF Gaming H1 Gen II Hatsune Miku Edition, a wired gaming headset with 40mm ASUS Essence drivers that support virtual 7.1 surround sound, a built-in TeamSpeak-certified microphone with inline controls, as well as a 297g weight with USB-A for PC and PS5 compatibility,
- And a TUF Gaming P1 Mouse Pad Hatsune Miku Edition, a fairly standard 260 x 360 mm mousepad that features Miku artwork.
Pricing and Availability
The four peripherals from the collaboration will be available in Singapore from early June this year. This is how much they’ll cost:
- TUF Gaming K3 Gen II Hatsune Miku Edition: S$149
- TUF Gaming Mini Wireless Mouse: S$129
- TUF Gaming H1 Gen II Hatsune Miku Edition: S$99
- TUF Gaming P1 Mouse Pad Hatsune Miku Edition: S$32
